I got this pin because I enjoy researching cryptids and my Grandmother was originally from Germany. I don't know if she ever heard of this, she never bought it up in conversations, and I had never heard of this creature until this pin came out. I just appreciate things that remind me of familial roots, cryptids, and monsters. I am a huge horror fanatic, and while this is not really scary I will implement this into one of my horror garments to show off and start conversations. After all, most strange creatures classify as monsters anyway.
