I haven’t bought this patch but I was looking at scans of Gustave Sore’s illustrations of Dante’s Divine Comedy and recognized this detail in Canto XIX (see attached). Thought I would share in case anybody else was wondering where this originally came from. Have a great day!

I have wanted this back piece for years and finally pulled the trigger. I couldn’t regret it any less. It was easy to iron on, just pay close attention to the corners and curve at the top. But it gets so many compliments and really completes the look I’ve been going for. Would buy again!

I donned this patch on my denim jacket to an MCR concert in Brooklyn and a group of emo kids praised said patch and asked where they might acquire one for themselves. Gatekeeper that I am, I told them to go scratch. Science knows, Morgan the Patch Monger is rich enough already!

This is the patch that put ID on my radar and spawned half a dozen purchases over the past few years. It’s huge, high quality, and gets the point across. Despite hoarding this patch since 2022, I’ve finally committed to putting it on the back of a sweatshirt and it’s class. You can iron, but I’d also use some mid-rate craft skills to stitch it securely. 10/10 patch, will fire start again.

It’s an awesome patch and I absolutely love it. I think it’s great to wear. If I had one concern, it would be of the flames and it’s slowly peeling off since the flames at the end are so easily able to be peeled. It can lead to it completely falling off so I would say sew on.

This patch was my inspiration to not only writing a novel, but making a brand new vest. Seeing it in person, is priceless. A high quality masterpiece that fans of art from the 15th century can truly enjoy having. Words cannot describe this except, it feels like history. Inner Decay has some of the most thought provoking material for DIY projects and you won’t find anything like it anywhere. The shop replies very quickly and will assist in any issues you are having. If you saw this on Facebook, such as I did, I strongly suggest buying something. You won’t regret it. The photos don’t do the items justice. However, if you like what you see, you will love it when it arrives at your door. I promise.
