Recreation of a 13th century Profane Pilgrim Badge.

My grandpa always said that life was like picking blackberries; all the best spots are at the top and you have to go through a lot of pricks to get there.

Look: I'm not sure what compels anyone to buy this pin. I don't know what compelled me to buy this pin (or it's partner). Maybe it's because I had to take a medieval lit course in grad school and we read Piers Plowman. Maybe it's because it's funny how bawdy and sexual things have been throughout human history. The reasons people buy this pin don't really matter. What matters is this thing is a beauty! It's bigger than you'd expect (that's what she said). It's the definition of a conversation starter. You can't see this pin and not ask a question about it.
